The artist
McKenna is a Gen Z, multidisciplinary designer that challenges limits and singularity. Unable to pick one dominant side of the brain, McKenna is ready to tackle whatever is required of the task at hand. Logistics and artistry converge here.
AREAS OF WORK
production design
Having started her career as a scenic designer, McKenna has since transitioned from the world of theatre, ballet, and opera to film and television. Her education and training has been centered around the ideation of worlds and how best to support the characters within them.
art direction
McKenna has been a leader as long as she can remember, and once she is assigned a task, she cannot ignore it until it’s completed successfully. She is a core element to execution and thrives in leading a team to the finish line.
creative direction
At the core of her being, McKenna is a visual storyteller. This desire has stretched her skillset into directing and producing. Her directorial debut, “FEVER/DREAM” is a dance film currently making its festival run around the globe.
additional skills
Adaptation is strength. McKenna is a believer that an artist is constantly learning. Having worked on all types of media and under all types of circumstances, she has picked up many valuable skills that make her a chameleon in the industry.
